Agriculture and Food

The ESBN Task force on Agriculture and Food works with ESBN networks, policy makers, agricultural, and food organizations to promote action towards Sustainable Development Goal 2: ”End hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition, and promote sustainable agriculture” and Goal 12: “Responsible Consumption and Production”

It aims to gather, develop, demonstrate, and advocate successful agricultural and food sustainable models in the Asia Pacific region; identify and integrate food safety and food sovereignty practices; empower small holder farmers and small and medium sized food companies through sharing knowledge of good practices for food safety management and sustainable food value chains; and link urban markets with the best agricultural practices, agriculture and food technology, cost effective processing technology, logistic, food and labeling safety standards.
