Training Workshop on Enhancing the Contribution of Preferential Trade Agreements to Inclusive and Equitable Trade: Case of Myanmar
The Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), in collaboration with the Department of Trade, Ministry of Commerce, Government of Myanmar is organising a capacity-building workshop on preferential trade agreements, 7-9 June 2017, Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar.
The purpose of the workshop is to increase awareness of government officials and trade negotiators of the potential socio-economic impacts of preferential trade agreements and how they can be managed through ex-ante and ex-post adjustments, thereby enhancing the understanding of participants of how liberalisation through preferential trade agreements can lead to more inclusive and equitable trade.
