Sri Lanka: Capacity Building on Trade Policy Analysis
ESCAP in collaboration with the Department of Commerce, Government of Sri Lanka is organising a training programme on “Trade Policy Analysis” on 20-22 September 2017 in Colombo, Sri Lanka. This training is organised for the newly recruited officers in the Department of Commerce on a request made by the Government. The training is tailored to meet the specific needs of Sri Lankan officers and the objective is to equip these new entrants to understand the importance of making policies or negotiating briefs on the basis of analytical work which uses empirical evidences. TIID staff as well as experts from ARTNeT will be participating as resource persons to this event.
