Launching of the UN-ESCAP Publication on Asia Pacific Disaster Report 2019: “The Disaster Riskscape Across Asia-Pacific”

Under Secretary General of the United Nations and Executive Secretary of ESCAP will launch the Asia-Pacific Disaster Report 2019 in Jakarta, Indonesia in company of Mr. Bambang Permadi Soemantri Brodjonegoro, Minister of National Development Planning of Indonesia. The report warns of a new climate reality where economic losses in Asia and the Pacific are set to quadruple. The event will be open to policy makers from Indonesian ministries, the media and development partners.
