International Innovation Fair 2017 and International Workshop on “Supporting Innovative Entrepreneurs and Role of Technology Transfer”

Asian and Pacific Centre for Transfer of Technology (APCTT) of ESCAP in partnership with Government of Andhra Pradesh, India and Indian Innovators Association will organize an international workshop on 10 September 2017 in Vishakhapatnam, India. The workshop aims to enhance awareness on the support mechanisms available for innovative entrepreneurs and effective management of technology ventures for cross-border cooperation. Minister for Information Technology Mr Nara Lokesh from Government of Andhra Pradesh will give the keynote address at the workshop, sharing the government policy framework for institutional support to entrepreneurs. Senior experts from ASEAN Countries, India and USA will share experiences, best practices and policy framework for promoting innovative start-ups and also address challenges that innovators face. The workshop is organized as part of the International Innovation Fair which will feature over 300 innovators from 30 countries. The International Innovation Fair will be inaugurated by the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Mr. Chandra Babu Naidu.
